American violinist Dr. Jonathon Winter enjoys a diverse career as a solo, chamber, and ensemble musician across the United States and Europe. Also an established educator and a formally trained Suzuki Method teacher, Dr. Winter previously held a faculty position at the Suzuki School of the Frost Preparatory Program at the University of Miami. He maintained a full studio of young violinists, taught group classes, and coached chamber music. His students have successfully competed in both local and national competitions.

Now based in Boulder, Colorado, Dr. Winter is a faculty member of Boulder Suzuki Strings, performs with the Boulder Philharmonic, and has appeared with the Colorado Music Festival. He earned a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he was the teaching assistant of Fritz Gearhart and Charles Wetherbee. Masterclass Participants:
- Violin and Viola Master Class with Dr. Jonathon Winter (limited to the first five students who sign up, book 4 and above please):
- $40 per student for associate members
- $50 per student for non-associate members
- Masterclass students should invite their own accompanists should they need one.
Parent Talk Participants (includes free lunch):
